Békéscsaba's enthusiastic and loyal audience is once again invited by Filharmonia Hungary to enjoy five unique, characterful concerts in the upcoming season. The opening night will feature three talented musicians—Fischer Annie Scholarship recipients—performing a vibrant program of solo, duo, and trio pieces on violin, cello, and piano. In January, the renowned Budapest Festival Orchestra, conducted by Gábor Takács-Nagy, will perform a program of romantic works filled with heroic emotion, moving away from their usual Viennese classical focus. February's lineup highlights Romanticism again, with some of the most memorable Italian opera pieces performed by Klára Kolonits, Szilveszter Szélpál, and the Szeged Symphony Orchestra. The Liszt Ferenc Chamber Orchestra will present lesser-known chamber works by Mendelssohn, Grieg, and Dvořák. The season will close with a Mediterranean, Spanish-inspired evening featuring guitarist András Csáki and the Anima Musicae Chamber Orchestra—sure to evoke the warmth of spring. A colourful adventure, isn’t it? Experience it firsthand!
